Known as “The House that Honey Built,” this lovely Southern Georgian style home was built between 1930 and 1935 by a one-legged man from Donaldson, Georgia. The house was built for Joseph Alfred and Pearl J. Whitfield. Joe and his children were the owners of Whitfield Apiaries. Today the house is home to Marlene Whitfield NcNair.
